Project Description:
The improvement includes construction of approximately 610 feet of 48-inch sanitary sewer pipe in open cut, approximately 5,160 feet of 54-inch sanitary sewer pipe in open cut, approximately 2,580 feet of 60-inch sanitary sewer pipe in open cut, approximately 5,300 feet of 72-inch sanitary sewer pipe in open cut, approximately 310 feet of 54-inch sanitary sewer pipe tunneled in place, approximately 370 feet of 60-inch sanitary sewer pipe tunneled in place, approximately 230 feet of 72-inch sanitary sewer pipe tunneled in place, 42 manholes and 9 special manholes and miscellaneous associated work. The project is located along Four Mile Creek from Scott Avenue to Easton Boulevard in the Cities of Des Moines and Pleasant Hill.

Project Update:
The contractor is currently installing sewer pipe between Scott Avenue and University Avenue.
