Project Description:
The improvement includes construction of approximately 10,170 feet of 72-inch sanitary sewer in open cut, approximately 170 feet of steel casing pipe with 72-inch sanitary sewer carrier pipe tunneled, approximately 600 feet of 72-inch sanitary sewer tunneled, 21 Type J modified manholes, 5 Type F modified manholes, 4 Special manholes, and miscellaneous associated work. The project extends from the Wastewater Reclamation Facility east and north to Scott Avenue near Four Mile Creek in Des Moines, Iowa.

Project Update:
All major phases of the project are complete. Seeding, cleanup, and final miscellaneous items will be completed this spring.
